The Role: Director of Narrative AdvocacyThis role requires a seasoned communications professional who will lead the charge in crafting and sharing our company story across all external channels. You'll be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our website and social media presence, leading PR efforts, conferences, and speaking engagements, as well as collaborating with our team to represent the brand in everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:- Messaging Strategy: Develop and maintain consistent, compelling messaging that resonates with our audience.
- Websites and Social Media: Oversee the management of our website and social media platforms, ensuring they accurately reflect our narrative, milestones, and news.
- Content Strategy: Create and execute a strategic content plan, including blog posts, editorials, and speaking opportunities.
- Comms and PR: Lead our comms and PR efforts, pitching stories, writing blog posts, and reacting to incoming requests.
- Announcements: Manage the schedule and approach for major company announcements.
- Candidate Profile: You're equal parts strategic thinker and scrappy problem-solver, with a passion for science and engineering.
- Skills and Qualifications: You turn complex concepts into captivating stories, work well with founders, leadership teams, engineers, and scientists, and are comfortable with ambiguity.
- Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience at an early-stage or scaling tech startup, direct work with founders, or expertise in inherently complex and technical companies.
