Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a hospital setting. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and successful delivery experience for mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
  • Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and vaginal births
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide education and support to promote healthy outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
