Job Description:

As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting GI physicians during endoscopy procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the RN
  2. Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, including setting up and operating oxygen and suction devices
  3. Transport patients and equipment as required
  4. Provide education and information to patients regarding procedures and treatment options

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Current certification in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
