Process Chemist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Chemist to join our team at Wacker Chemical Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization
  • Review and improve production recipes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Quality Control
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues related to production processes
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality
• Inventory Management
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and products
  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures to minimize waste and optimize production
• Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with production team members, quality control specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production processes
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 0-2 years' experience in a chemical plant production environment or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
