Job Summary

As a key member of the Glanbia team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing cheese and whey products, as well as other items that come into the plant via trucks.

Essential Functions
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Receive and store incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the distribution of products to customers, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Perform quality control checks on products and packaging to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving data, and quality control metrics.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as SAP, food safety, and warehouse operations.
Additional Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience or certification in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly involves talking or listening, sitting, and use of hands and fingers.
  • Frequently involves reaching with hands and arms, standing, and walking.
  • Occasionally involves crouching, stooping, and/or kneeling.
Travel Requirements
  • Minimal travel limited within the local area.
