Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Alden Court Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate the nursing needs of residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to coordinate resident care and address any concerns or issues.
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
