We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Menta Education Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evaluations, re-evaluations, and additional support to students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for day-to-day life and work, according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities- Student Evaluations and Re-Evaluations: Primarily focus on conducting thorough and comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and areas of need.
- Occupational Therapy Services: Provide occupational therapy-related services as dictated by the students' IEPs, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their goals.
- IEP Goal Development and Progress Reports: Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseloads, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP-directed, to ensure seamless support for students.
- Current State Occupational Therapy License: Possess a current and valid state occupational therapy license.
- Registration with National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy: Be registered with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Ability to Work with Students with Diverse Needs: Demonstrate the ability to work with students with a range of needs, including emotional disabilities, behavioral disorders, other health impairments, autism, and traumatic brain injuries.
