Fairview Range Medical Center is currently seeking a dedicated Urology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to enhance our urology department. This role is based in Hibbing, MN, and offers a collaborative environment within a multi-specialty clinic.
Team Collaboration: Our healthcare professionals work in conjunction with over 22 physicians and 6 NP/PAs across various specialties, including pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, internal medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery, and sports medicine. We also have access to consulting specialists in neurology, cardiology, and oncology, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, requiring 80 hours per pay period with 8-hour day shifts. Weekend shifts may be necessary based on departmental needs.

About Fairview Mesaba Clinic: Fairview Mesaba Clinic operates in association with Fairview Range Medical Center, the leading medical facility in the region. Our services include a fully staffed emergency department, extensive laboratory and imaging services, respiratory therapy, radiation therapy, and various specialty clinics.
About Fairview Range: Fairview Range is part of M Health Fairview, a collaboration between Fairview Health Services, the University of Minnesota, and M Physicians. We provide a wide range of healthcare services, ensuring access to advanced medical research and specialty care across northeastern Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time equivalent of 1.0, with 36 patient contact hours weekly.
- Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records.
- Collaboration in 4 operating rooms.
- Directly work alongside two urology physicians.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements for Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner:
- Demonstrated progressive clinical experience.
- Master's degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a master's or doctorate in advanced practice OR from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a master's or doctorate.
- Possession of an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from the MN Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant certification.
- Preferred clinical experience in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting.
- Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
