We are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team at Fort Worth Independent School District. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, especially those at high risk, and possess a valid Texas professional license in one of the following fields: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Social Worker (LBSW, LMSW, LCSW).
As an Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide prevention and intervention services, including individual and group counseling, crisis response, and case management. You will also collaborate with campus administrators and other district personnel to develop and implement programs and services that promote student academic achievement and social-emotional well-being.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be familiar with trauma-informed critical incident response and have experience using prevention and intervention skills with students and families.
