Job Summary

To maintain peace and order in the City of Claremore, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a key member of our law enforcement department, you will be responsible for enforcing state and federal laws, as well as city ordinances, to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce traffic laws and regulations.
  • Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and prepare reports to document findings.
  • Make arrests and testify in court as needed.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices.
Requirements
  • CLEET certification preferred.
  • Must be between the ages of 21-45 or have prior experience as a police officer.
  • Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license with no suspensions or revocations in the past 5 years.
  • Must not have been convicted of domestic abuse or have any pending criminal actions.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $45, $57,860.57, depending on CLEET certification and years of service.
  • A 5% raise upon graduating CLEET and at one year of service.
  • Lateral transfers from other law enforcement agencies with up to 5 credit years at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
  • A 10K sign-on bonus for certified officers on a pre-determined pay structure.
