Job Title: Pediatric 1:1 Nurse

Job Summary:

We have an opening for a 1:1 Nurse in Granite Springs, NY to provide high-quality patient care in the patient's home, at school, and on bus. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and be able to provide care for an 11-year-old patient with Gastrostomy, Oxygen, and Seizure activity.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, schools, and on buses.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • NYS Nursing licensure required.
  • Experience working in pediatrics not necessary, but preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and able to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed.
  • Must have malpractice insurance.
