Job Title: Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic services and implementing therapeutic measures to students with visual impairments.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and voice disorders in students with visual impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech therapy
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech Therapy or a related field
  • Eligibility for New Mexico PED licensure
  • Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred
