Job Description

As a Travel Nurse RN - Oncology Specialist with CrossMed, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced oncology setting. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and reporting outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with other healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in oncology care

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in oncology nursing
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse personnel
