Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dialysis team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a dialysis nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and treatment in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a dialysis nurse, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with end-stage renal disease.

• Provide direct patient care and treatment in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in dialysis care.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current RN license in the state of South Dakota or eligibility for multi-state licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Nephrology Certification or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is highly desirable.
