Job Summary

Donaldson is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Assembler to join our team at the Greeneville Plant. As an essential member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of spot welders, forming liners, and fitting and positioning product weldments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Set up and operate spot welders for galvanized steel, performing change-overs as necessary.
  • Form liners within quality and quantity standards as stated in blueprints/route sheets.
  • Fit and position product weldments using welding and welding fixtures, jigs, and rollers.
  • Recognize and understand the functions and capabilities of the welder, H-clip machine, and roller table to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with others on the assembly line to maintain production rates.
  • Complete all applicable paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work scheduled overtime hours and assist other departments as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measuring devices, and standard work documents and routings.
  • Regular and punctual daily attendance is a key requirement for success in this position.
