Job Summary:The Masker is responsible for applying tape to product parts prior to applying metal finishing chemical and trim tape on parts with a variety of different equipment and tools. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and apply the correct type of tape to product parts based on work order forms.
- Place parts on and off racks as needed to facilitate the masking process.
- Prepare and package parts for shipping to ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.
- Ability to apply tape to all parts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Comfortable using basic tools and equipment.
- Comfortable working in a chemical environment.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Comfortable being exposed to heat, noise, and chemical fumes while in production areas.
- Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
