Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Roadway Design Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative transportation solutions. This role involves engaging in the design and planning of roadways and transportation systems for various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for design, utilizing Microstation and InRoads for 3-D modeling of transportation infrastructure.
  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive transportation plans, which include roadway design, hydrology and drainage calculations, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Collaborate on projects of varying scales for a diverse clientele, including public transportation agencies and local government projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in roadway design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) licenses are preferred.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW).
  • Extensive experience in highway and roadway design using MicroStation Connect, ORD, and PW.
  • Ability to develop project cost estimates and specifications, including special provisions.
  • Experience in drainage design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design; CCR certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam PDF editing software is advantageous.
  • GIS experience is also a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $60,000 - $120,000 per year
