ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT:


Gynecologic Oncology is a dedicated branch of medicine that specializes in cancers affecting the female reproductive system, including cervical, ovarian, and uterine/endometrial cancers.

Our Gynecologic Cancer Program is a collaborative initiative that integrates medical, surgical, radiation, and pathology expertise to create tailored treatment plans based on the specific type of cancer, whether it is in its early stages or more advanced.


POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are the cornerstone of patient care at Rochester Regional Health.

Your role is pivotal in positively impacting the lives of our patients, their families, and visitors - consistently exceeding their expectations with compassion, respect, and kindness.

WORK SCHEDULE:
M-F Days

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Care & Support. Enhance and restore patients' health by executing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; performing various treatment protocols; providing physical, educational, and emotional support to patients and their families; supervising assigned team members.
Planning & Communication. Formulate and document individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, with assistance from the interdisciplinary health team as necessary; maintain effective communication to relay patient health status, treatment strategies, and progress.
Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management. Exhibit proficient use of an EHR, ensuring accurate patient and provider documentation and communication.
Compliance. Adhere to departmental and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal), and educational requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

M - Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.


CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)

COMPENSATION RANGE:
$44.00
The stated base pay range reflects a good faith representation of potential base pay for successful candidates. It may be subject to change. Compensation is influenced by factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
