Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment in West Hollywood, California.

Job Requirements:
  • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

The ideal candidate will have strong PCU experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS, with NIH certification preferred. The nurse should be proficient in IV starts, tele, and PA lines, with experience in managing complex cases, including fresh post-op kidney transplants.

About the Assignment:

This is a true PCU setting, requiring a high level of skill and expertise. The nurse will work with patients who require ongoing interventions and assessments every 2 hours, with a focus on managing moderate to high risk for dysrhythmias. The unit uses specialized equipment, including Swan Ganz catheters and invasive hemodynamic devices.
