Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble patient meal trays according to designated menus and dietary requirements.
  • Prepare a variety of food items including salads, sauces, and desserts, adhering to established preparation standards.
  • Perform standard food service tasks, including sanitation duties and serving responsibilities.
  • Prepare and portion cold food items for patient tray service, ensuring accuracy in assembly, labeling, and delivery of meals, snacks, and nourishment.
  • Assist in the dishwashing area, managing the cleaning and organization of trays and utensils while following proper food handling procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience of 2 years in food service or a related field.
  • Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in food service.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines under direct supervision.
