Job Description: Medical Charge Entry Specialist

Four Winds Health is looking for a detail-oriented Medical Charge Entry Specialist to support our revenue cycle operations. As a Medical Charge Entry Specialist, you will review and enter charges into our practice management system, ensuring accurate and timely charge entry for hard copy and electronic claim submission.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing medical records, operative notes, hospital admissions, consults, progress notes, and discharges to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Entering charges into the practice management system
  • Collaborating with the billing department to ensure all bills are satisfied in a timely manner
  • Communicating with insurance companies about coding errors and disputes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle; medical charge entry/coding/billing preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
