Role Overview
At Kohler, we are committed to transforming waste into valuable resources. As a Waste Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in our endeavor to enhance lives through innovative and sustainable practices.
Your responsibilities will include repurposing industrial waste materials into unique bathroom fixtures, showcasing your craftsmanship while contributing to waste reduction efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Collecting, categorizing, and preparing industrial waste materials for production and development.
- Formulating vitreous China mixtures, foundry components, bathtub remnants, and resins for lavatory sink casting.
- Casting resin lavatory sinks using plastic molds.
- Handling molds and finished products.
- Conducting finishing processes including sanding, painting, shaping, and hand coating.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the Waste Lab.
- Adhering to safety protocols within the department.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work hands-on as a craftsman, with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- Basic proficiency in mathematics and written communication in English.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of navigating ambiguity.
The hourly range for this position is $35.30. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors including experience, education, and work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
