Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality hand therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, and discharge planning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices and incorporating patient feedback.
  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants and aides, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers involved in the patient's care.
  • Stay abreast of current research and advancements in hand therapy to ensure delivery of the most effective and up-to-date treatments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a valid state OT License.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying custom splinting techniques for pre and post-operative orthopedic conditions.
  • Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
