Job Title: School Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role:

Foundations Educational Services, a member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a skilled School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing students' speech and language development skills, interpreting results, and developing individualized treatment plans to support their growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' speech and language development skills, including receptive and expressive language skills, speech production skills, and social language skills development.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy programs to meet students' unique needs.
  • Provide consultation to classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and maintain accurate records of student progress, including evaluation reports, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.


Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona.
  • Valid Department of Education SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona.
  • Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Maintain Continuing Education requirements, as per AzDHS.


Work Environment:

This role requires occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. The position involves frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more pounds. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
