Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will provide one-on-one care to young adults and elderly individuals in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
  • Transport individuals to community outings, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, and vocational responsibilities
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
  • Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable and responsible attitude
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to quality
