Job Description

As a Communication Therapist, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with speech and language disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized therapy services to meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
  • Evaluate residents' communication skills and develop strategies to improve their abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments and progress monitoring to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of resident progress and therapy sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Communication Therapist, you must possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited program.
  • An active Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
