Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Pulmonary and Critical Care Division at Sinai Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
  2. Clinical Operations: Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  3. Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Education and Training: Develop and implement educational programs for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Board certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
