Job Summary:

The Restaurant Server is a key member of our team at Royal Lahaina Resort, providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Receive and deliver food and beverage orders, collect payment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Upsell food, beverage, and promotional items to guests, promoting our resort's offerings and increasing revenue.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, side-work duties, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S system, perform cashiering functions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction, responding promptly to guest needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages.
