We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist-Computed Tomography Specialist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT exams with precision and accuracy, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Administer contrast agents and utilize power injectors as needed, ensuring correct flow rates and patient safety.
- Document all necessary information, including patient history, exam details, and image marking, to maintain accurate records.
- Utilize AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) to create a positive patient experience.
- Assist in maintaining a high-quality radiologic science program by supporting student clinical and didactic instruction.
- Participate in regulatory compliance efforts, adhering to standards and recommendations from voluntary and government agencies.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certified.
- Annual completion of CT and Fluoroscopic Safety education.
- Clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate training for the modality assigned.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with all customers and coworkers.
