We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Community at Brookmeade. As a member of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skillset by preparing and serving delicious meals for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct other team members to ensure food quality and timely service
  • Follow recipes and product directions to prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, and serve soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foods
  • Prepare, season, and cook meats and vegetables using skills in frying, grilling, and sautéing
  • Assist in the preparation/cooking of hot and/or cold foods, and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation and equipment, following all standards and regulatory rules and procedures
  • Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and maintain a safe working environment by fixing immediate needs with appropriate safety measures
