Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain boilers, including monitoring fuel delivery, chemical and water levels, and adjusting levels as necessary
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal operation of mechanical systems
* Troubleshoot and repair defects in mechanical equipment and plant electrical systems
* Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager to achieve set goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and practices

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 4 years' boiler plant operating experience preferred
* Strong safety experience and proficiency in troubleshooting
* Working knowledge of boilers, compressors, and mechanical equipment
* Good math background and verbal skills required
* Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and establish effective working relationships with supervisor, coworkers, and management

Working Conditions:

* Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme heat
* Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
* Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and/or machinery
