Industrial Electrician Job Description

At Multi-Color Corporation MCC, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's electrical systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install and maintain all safety features as required on all machinery and equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and adhere to electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Correctly interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain, repair, and replace parts as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain all records of PM tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 5-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of industrial equipment mechanics and electrical systems.
  • Forklifting driving and scissor lift work platform use.
  • Electrical troubleshooting of industrial equipment, facility wiring, and lighting fixtures.
  • Troubleshooting of PLCs and VFDs.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
