Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain annual operations and capital budgets
  • Manage minor construction and renovation projects
  • Ensure proper execution and documentation of Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance
  • Maintain proper daily documentation for all work performed
  • Establish a detailed construction schedule with projected start and completion dates
  • Complete estimates for any/all departments as requested
  • Maintain communications with all affected departments, directors/managers as appropriate
  • Schedule and implement preventive maintenance for all applicable equipment
  • Responsible for managing department operational budget
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of maintenance experience
  • Two years supervisory experience in a building construction, maintenance or repair work
  • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration (HVAC-R)
  • License or certification as required by scope of responsibility and/or government ordinance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related field
  • Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications
  • Healthcare experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
Physical and Environmental Demands

The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
