Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech to join our dynamic team at Providence Saint Vincent Medical Center. As a Radiology Cardiology X-Ray Technician, you will work in a short-term acute care facility with 536 staff beds, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a short-term acute care facility with 536 staff beds.
  • No floating between units; intermittent on-call required with 3-4 shifts per month.
  • Required to work Sundays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • No block schedules required; work schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
  • Scrub Color: Any color allowed for all; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided.
  • Orientation involves 40 hours.
  • Candidates should have one reference covering one year of employment within the last three years.
  • Expected to float within hospitals or affiliate hospitals nearby.
  • Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
  • Communication devices will be provided if required; otherwise, reimbursement is available for work-related cell phone use.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience required.
  • OR license required, can submit with it pending.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed.
  • EPIC charting experience, willingness to float between facilities.
