About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team at Dunkin'. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for coaching Crew Members to execute operational standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach Crew Members to meet operational standards and deliver great guest experiences
  • Talk employees into, through, and out of position on each shift, communicating responsibilities and providing feedback
  • Deploy team members appropriately to meet guests' needs and service standards
  • Support training of Crew Members as directed by the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance during the shift
Operations Excellence for Guest Satisfaction

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests are the highest priority and that exceptional guest service is delivered. This includes:

  • Driving a sense of urgency through Crew Members to satisfy guests' needs and resolve problems
  • Reinforcing the use of systems, tools, and procedures throughout the shift
  • Monitoring team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met
Profitability

You will also be responsible for ensuring that restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during the shift. This includes:

  • Following all systems and processes to control labor costs, food costs, and cash
  • Monitoring and ensuring Crew Members comply with all policies and procedures related to cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security
Requirements
  • Fluent in English
  • Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience
  • Math and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least 18 years of age (where applicable)
  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
