P6 Scheduler

Southland Holdings is seeking a skilled P6 Scheduler to lead project planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Primavera P6 and a strong understanding of construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain integrated project plans and schedules to ensure efficient project execution
Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for project team approval
Analyze schedule impacts and report to project teams
Monitor schedule deviations and variances, and assist in developing corrective action methods
Provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
Ensure the credibility of schedule information
Review schedules with project team members to ensure accurate and timely data incorporation
Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths
Evaluate activity sequences for constructability
Analyze change orders for schedule impacts
Resource load schedules as required by the project team
Perform job-site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities
This position requires travel to job sites.
Requirements:
Construction-related degree with construction scheduling experience
2-3 years of experience
Experience working with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
Understanding of construction processes
Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
Basic knowledge of contract procedures and principles and excellent computer skills and analytical ability
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
Ability to understand construction logic and sequencing of complex projects
