About the RoleThis is a direct hire position with excellent benefits and perks included. As an Equipment Mechanic, your main responsibilities will involve diagnosing and repairing various types of equipment, such as forklifts, excavators, compactors, crushers, screens, and dump trucks. You will work in the field, so passing a background check, drug screen, and MVR is required. Your expertise in handling heavy-wheeled construction equipment will be highly valuable for maintaining their optimal functionality. Collaboration with customers and team members to identify and solve equipment issues will be a key part of your role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role as an Equipment Mechanic
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment
- Proficiency with both hand and power tools
- Capability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as needed
