The Clinical Research Financial Analyst I is a key member of the Novant Health team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the facilities/sites assigned. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that all financial statements prepared are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with overall business planning, budgeting, trend analysis, and evaluation of the department's services and performance.
- Oversee financial activities, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance financial performance.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
- High School or GED required. Entry level or anyone starting with less than 3 years of direct experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently without constant supervision, and a critical thinker.
- Flexible, able to meet deadlines, and adaptable to change.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Clinical Research administration experience.
- Experience with budget preparation, business planning, and trend analysis.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting on specified quantitative and qualitative data.
- Patient-based billing experience.
