Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-acuity weekend care for a medically fragile child in Tomball, TX.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse RN. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to a child with complex medical needs, working closely with the family and our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care, including administration of medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Provide health education and training to family members, promoting independence and self-care.
- Document care provided in our electronic system of record, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to address patient concerns, changes in condition, and other issues.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas.
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or home health.
- Reliable transportation.
- A competitive hourly rate starting at $32.00.
