About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other surgical personnel during procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment
  • Decontaminate equipment and instruments
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a Surgical Technology Program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAAHEP) or other program accredited by the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist
  • National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
