Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Enhancement Specialist to join our team at Morris Great Lakes. As a key member of our sales and support staff, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering outstanding results through your technical expertise and industry knowledge.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering, capital equipment sales, contracts, service, and management teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop tailored solutions to meet the needs of our customers. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine tool technology and industry trends to ensure that our customers receive the best possible support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers across various levels of their organizations, including shop floor, programming, engineering, purchasing, and senior management.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with capital equipment sales teams to ensure seamless pre-sales to project completion support, providing expert advice and guidance to customers on machine selection, installation, and operation.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our product lines, including machine accessories, work holding, and tooling products, to effectively recommend solutions to customers and drive revenue growth.
  • Project Management: Lead projects from inception to completion, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results and exceed customer expectations.
  • Territory Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within assigned territories, leveraging your industry knowledge and technical expertise to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, business administration)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine tool sales, customer support, or related field
  • Strong understanding of machine tool technology and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other related business applications
