Little City Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist - Behavioral Intervention to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and staff to provide behavior intervention and treatment services that promote positive behavioral change and skill development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and develop personalized behavior support plans.
- Implement and supervise the delivery of evidence-based interventions, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between settings.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to direct support staff, paraprofessionals, and other stakeholders on best practices in behavioral intervention and support.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a field related to child development or special education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and techniques, including ABA and PBS.
