BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Tableau - Advanced professional to join our team in Wilmington, DE.

About the Role:

This position is part of a team that manages and maintains over 50 published dashboard pages used by various personas in the Data Center Exit Program. Responsibilities will include building and deploying new Tableau dashboards, as well as supporting existing ones. The ideal candidate should be familiar with connecting multiple data types back into Tableau directly or through transformation tools such as Alteryx. A working knowledge of basic SQL commands is also required, as a majority of data sources will be SQL, Sharepoint, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new Tableau dashboards
  • Support and maintain existing Tableau dashboards
  • Connect multiple data types back into Tableau using Alteryx or other transformation tools
  • Write basic SQL queries to extract data from various sources
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Tableau and design techniques
  • Experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and toolset
  • Ability to work in Agile frameworks and cultivate teams
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, and security
