About the Job
  The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking an experienced Electrician (Power System) to join our team. As an Electrician (Power System) at the Bureau of Reclamation, you will perform a variety of skilled tasks associated with high voltage electrical equipment, controls, fixtures, and primary electrical distribution systems found in hydroelectric powerplants, water storage and diversion dams, pumping plants, and electrical features associated facilities, buildings, and auxiliary equipment.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • • Installs, maintains, repairs, electrical assemblage, troubleshoots, and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment of electric powerplants and primary electrical distribution systems.
• Connects Programmable Logic Control, solid state devices, and Sonic Liquid level devices. Connects and services power transformers, distribution transformers, instrument transformers, switches, switchboards, meters, relays, cranes, elevators, power circuit breakers, and racks breakers.
