About the Role

This position is a vital part of our retail store's success. As a Store Associate, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining the high quality and visual standards of our products and store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, providing them with tailored solutions
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, contributing to the store's success
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas, ensuring efficient operations
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, as needed, to meet customer demands
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, providing high-quality solutions
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment
  • Clean store equipment, ensuring optimal performance
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, facilitating efficient inventory management
  • Assist with deliveries, as needed, to meet customer needs
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Remain knowledgeable about products offered, discussing available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels
  • Suggest ways to improve sales, contributing to the store's growth and success
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
