About the Role: The Wisdom Teeth Guys is seeking a proactive and skilled individual to oversee operations across multiple oral surgery locations and a mobile surgical team within the Houston metropolitan area. This role necessitates working every other Saturday.

Who We Are: Wisdom Teeth Guys is a leading provider of wisdom teeth extraction services in various Texas markets, now extending our reach to Houston. Our Texas facilities boast over 3,000 five-star reviews, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Operational Overview: We will conduct 3-4 surgical days weekly in the Houston area, rotating among several locations. The surgery days typically fall between Wednesday and Friday, along with every other Saturday. On non-surgical days, you will operate from an executive office conveniently located near your residence.

Collaboration: You will work alongside a team of talented local oral surgeons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations during surgical days.
  • Recruit and manage a team of four oral surgery assistants and an assistant surgery manager.
  • Coordinate schedules and communicate protocols with our CRNAs regarding sedation practices.
  • Conduct pre-operative calls with patients and their guardians prior to surgery.
  • Document patient treatments in the ledger.
  • Process payments and welcome patients upon arrival.
  • Ensure the surgical team adheres to the schedule.
  • Maintain relationships with our medical professionals.
  • Manage relationships with our leasing locations.
  • Oversee orders for instruments and supplies.
  • Handle equipment management, including handpieces and crash carts.
  • Train new surgical assistants on procedures and X-ray equipment.
  • Ensure seamless operations from front to back.

Qualifications: Significant management experience and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential. Experience in oral surgery (both front and back office) and a passion for the dental field are highly preferred, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
