Job Title: Chief Convention Strategist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Marriott International team as a Chief Convention Strategist. As a key member of our Convention Services department, you will be responsible for leading and directing the activities of the team, overseeing performance, and developing strategic plans to drive success.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the Convention Services leadership team, including performance evaluations, goal-setting, and training development
- Promote effective communication with operational departments and assist in problem resolution
- Develop and execute employee satisfaction action planning, ensuring all operational policies and procedures are maintained
- Verify compliance with life safety codes and regulations, and develop annual departmental strategic plans
- Prepare and manage the department budget and revenue forecasts, promoting profitability

What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in event planning or convention services
- Proven leadership and strategic planning skills
