Job Title: Baker

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Hebrew SeniorLife. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and producing high-quality desserts and baked goods for our patients, catering events, and cafeteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute desserts and baked goods according to standardized recipes and preparation methods.
  • Manage daily production sheets and ensure that all food is properly rotated and stored.
  • Work closely with the Jr. Sous Chef and Exec Sous Chef to ensure proper execution of specials orders and other tasks.
  • Ensure that all work areas, storage areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in an orderly fashion.
  • Follow and adhere to sanitation action plans and local, state, and federal sanitation compliance surveys.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of baking experience.
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification.
  • Basic computer skills to access emails and other online resources.
  • Professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
