Precision Machinery Specialist

Dansources Technical Services is seeking a skilled Precision Machinery Specialist to join our team.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role involves setting up and operating various precision machinery tools, including milling machines, boring tools, and other specialized equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Executing machining operations with high precision and accuracy;
• Selecting and mounting machine attachments and tooling as needed;
• Planning and executing sequences of operations, ensuring efficient use of time and resources;
• Interpreting technical specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate setup and operation of machinery;
• Maintaining quality control and adhering to statistical process control procedures.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of precision machinery and its applications;
• Experience working with a variety of machining tools and equipment;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work safely and effectively in this environment.
