Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to medical patients with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease, utilizing a team approach to deliver optimal care and education.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and promoting positive outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies to address those needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient vital signs, track progress, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular setting.
- Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia or compact state.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts, including weekdays and every other weekend.
- Flexibility to float to meet facility needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- 36 hours or 48 hours per week, with options for discussion during interview.
